Tonight, Law & Order begins its 19th season! The season half of last season saw a shakeup in the show’s cast with Jeremy Sisto’s Detective Cyrus Lump taking over the lead detective role from a departing Jesse L. Martin, who portrayed Detective Ed Green for nine years and close to two hundred episodes. Detective Lump got a new partner in Detective Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson – pictured above).
In tonight’s all new episode, the team is looking into the death of a Wall Street stockbroker, but when they are unable to get sound evidence, DA Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) has to make one of the “most controversial arguments of his legal career.” The episode airs at 10pm on NBC.
