Good Morning! Another week, another Pit! Grab a beverage, breakfast, sit back and enjoy…

  • Who are Hollywood’s hardest working actors? (Yahoo)
  • Read the first chapter of Somebody: The Reckless Life and Remarkable Career of Marlon Brando. An engaging look at Brando’s posthumous legacy. (New York Times)
  • If you perfer pictures to text, you can also read the full first issue of Mark Millar’s War Heroes. (Newsarama)

I absolutely love Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead. It is the comic I wait for every month and it’s the only series that never disappoints. I’m not sure why, but I’ve never checked out his other stuff, including The Astounding Wolf-Man.  But now seems like the perfect time to give it a look. Image has teamed up with Newsarama to present full free issues, including a “Director’s Cut” of the first issue of Wolf-Man. You can check out the full issue here.

With direction by Edward Zwick (Blood Diamond), this WWII drama from Paramount Vantage stars Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, and Jamie Bell as Jewish brothers who escape Nazi-occupied Poland and help free captive Jews during the Holocaust. The movie, which is based on a true story, opens in limited release this weekend.

Last month, Superman #682 caught my attention and this month they’ve been able to keep. Superman #683 features part 9 of the current “New Krypton” storyline. It is written by James Robinson and Geoff Johns with art from Renato Guedes and Wilson Magalhaes, and an awesome cover by the legendary Alex Ross.

DC Comics’ official description: “Violence breaks out on Earth as the Kryptonians, enraged by humanity’s treatment of them and their newly passed anti-Kryptonian laws, strike back! Imagine 100,000 people, each with the powers of Superman but lacking his humanity — and they’re angry!”

The issue hits stands on January 2nd, 2009. Click on the pictures below to enlarge:
