This article is brought to you by your friends at celibre.com.

We post a lot about Hollywood and filmmaking, but one thing I tend to stay away from when posting articles is skincare and dermatology. Keeping good care of yourself is important for everyone, especially actors, but more and more it is becoming important for directors, writers and even producers to look good.  Every DVD includes behinds the scenes videos, interviews, and they are also used online to promote films and TV shows. The crew in many cases is becoming the face of the project.

Sometimes, having the right dermatology location is key to looking your best.  Celibre has a Los Angeles and Orange County location. They provide laser tattoo removal in Los Angeles, and a ton of other laser and injection treatments for everything from acne treatment, scar removal, and wrinkles to spider veins and stretch mark removal, among a lot of other procedures. If you are looking for Los Angeles Dermatology, they might be right for you.

I have loved everything I have seen about Matthew Vaughn’s film adaptation of  Kick-Ass.  These four new connecting posters that feature Red Mist, Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, and Big Daddy are awesome. Click it for a larger image.

Kick-Ass Poster

Matthew Vaughn directed Stardust from Niel Gaiman’s book and came very close to directing X-Men 3: The Last Stand, before he left due to the studio pressure to get the film out as quick as possible regardless of quality. I love his style and I really can’t wait for Kick-Ass. You can check out videos from the new film over at the IMDB.

Nip Tuck's Final Season Starts Now

Tonight at 10pm on FX, the final season of Nip/Tuck begins.  Yeah, it has only been 3 weeks since the last season ended, but I think this is a good time for the series to go to bed. And I’m really happy that they have had the proper time to end it their way. As the new season opens, Christian and Sean are heading back to Miami to accept an award from their alma mater, and what better time would the show have to take us back to the way beginning and show us more of their college years.

Nip/Tuck used to be one of those shows that I had to watch.  Through season three I never missed an episode, than sadly the show began going to a very bad place. None of the characters were likable and I just couldn’t care for the stories anymore. I’m hoping that the final season surprises me. I hope that I can just jump in (like the final season of Monk) and enjoy the hell out of it. We’ll see.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Pexagon Technology. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you have an iPhone or a BlackBerry? If so, you should look into getting one of Pexagon’s personalized Apple & BlackBerry cases. They are a steal at only $5!

Iphone-plastic-az

As pictured above, the cases can be personalized with both text and logos (at no additional cost). For the logo, you can use your school or work logo, or even a completely custom design. For the text, you can write your name, nickname, company, school, or even a goofy tagline. The cases fit a bunch of different Apple/BlackBerry models, including the 3G iPhone and 2nd Generation iPod Touches, along with the BlackBerry Curve 8300, the BlackBerry Curve 8900, the BlackBerry Bold 9000, and the BlackBerry Tour 9630. The Apple cases are made with either a resilient soft silicone rubber or plastic, and the BlackBerrys come in the silicone style. The cases come in the wrap-on design (also pictured above), the engraving will not chip or rub off, and the cases are perfectly tailored to fit your smart phone. You will not have to remove to slide off the case to press buttons or take pictures.

I currently have a boring plain black case on my BlackBerry. It doesn’t have a logo, or text, and it cost me over 20 bucks to get it at the mall. Pexagon’s cases are only 5 dollars and come with the free engraving AND free shipping. I think I’m going to get a case with the My Hollywood Dream logo and URL on it.

anthony anderson on law and order

Law and Order has been renewed for a record breaking 21st season! This would make it the longest running prime-time drama, passing Gunsmoke. The series began in 1990 and starred Chris Noth and George Dzundza, and has had a ton of cast changes throughout the years, including such talents as Paul Sorvino, Jerry Orbach, Benjamin Bratt, Jesse L. Martin, Fred Thompson, and Dennis Farina.

The series currently stars Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson on the detective side, with Sam Waterston, Alana De La Garza, and Linus Roache on the DA side.  Waterston has been in 358 episodes of the series as A.D.A. Jack McCoy, and has also crossed the character over into Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and Homicide: Life on the Street.

I love Law and Order, and I’m glad to see the original continue into the future. It is one of the few shows that I don’t have to watch regularly, but I can jump in at any time and enjoy it. It doesn’t matter if it is a new episode, or a rerun, the stories speak for themselves. Happy to see it continue? Wish it would just end already?
