Gossip Girl Image CW Ad Season 2 Begins SoonOkay, so we’ve been lacking on TV Tonight posts since the start of the new fall television season, but with good reason… there is just too much to watch.  I’ve been completely off my schedule lately. If it wasn’t for Tivo and Free TV Online, than I doubt that I’d be able to watch half of the shows that I want to.

Lets start by taking a look at Mondays. At 8pm alone I’d like to watch How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, House, and even (my guilty pleasure) 90210. That is 3 and 1/2 hours worth of TV in just one timeslot. Later on Monday there is Gossip Girl and Hawaii Five-O. As much as I love TV, 5 and 1/2 hours is pretty hard to do in just one night. On Tuesday there is No Ordinary Family and Glee at 8pm, Raising Hope, Running Wilde, and Life Unexpected in the 9 o’clock hour. On Wednesday there is The Middle, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Los Angeles. Moving to Thursday we have Gray’s Anatomy, $#*! My Dad Says, Community, 30 Rock, and The Office. On Friday I’ve only been watching Smallville, and is there even any new TV on Saturday? My Sundays are loaded with Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, and Dexter. Tallying these shows alone brings me to 20 hours a week of primetime television.

Currently, I’m about a week behind with my regular TV viewings.  I watch shows like Smallville and Gossip Girl on the CW TV website, while I Tivo the shows that don’t go online, including AMC’s Mad Men and HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.  The only shows I have to watch same day as they air are Chuck, Dexter, and Modern Family. What do you watch live? What do you tape? And what are you watching online?
