I missed spotlighting a few shows this past weekend, notably Chuck, The Walking Dead, and Dexter. They are easily my three favorite shows currently on television and I hope that you were able to check them out.
Speaking about my favorite shows, my favorite new comedy of the season is 2 Broke Girls. The show reminds me of the classic sitcom Perfect Strangers but with a modern twist and a gender reversal. The cast is both likable and entertaining. They don’t wear kids gloves or hold back to what is politically correct, which is refreshing for a change. The show airs on CBS at 8:30pm after How I Met Your Mother. Here is tonight’s official description: Max and Caroline take an apartment-cleaning job to make extra cash, not realizing it’s the apartment of a hoarder; and Max learns that Johnny is keeping a secret from her.
