Wow, it has been a while since I was asked to do one of these. I might be a little rusty when it comes to reviewing web sites, but lets see what I can do. Find web hosting is a directory that helps visitors do just what the website name says; find web hosting. The website is completely free to use and their about section says that their focus is to “provide clear, objective information to help you find the right web hosting provider to support your personal or business needs.

Their directory of top web hosts is put together through a variety of information, including price, money back offer, set up/domain costs, bandwidth, performance, reviews and overall score. Above is a picture of the website’s main page. The color scheme of blue and silver works well and is consistent throughout the website.  In fact, the whole website is very clean and well put together. Sections are easy to find and there is a lot of information presented, yet it does not feel like it is an information overload.

The top menu bar includes links for “Compare Hosts”, “Forum”, “Resources”, “About”, “News”, and “Contact”. As you can imagine the “Compare Hosts” section is the most useful for someone actually looking for a web host. “Resources” is also informative, with articles such as Do It Yourself Graphics, Page Optimization and SQL Server Databases. Themain direction of top web hosts includes sections such as “Business Hosting”, “Cheap Hosting”, “Green Hosting”, and “Ecommerce Hosting” to name a few.

If you give the directory a chance, please come back and let me know how useful it was for you by leaving a comment below!

Release Date: January 13, 2012
Studio: Anchor Bay
Director: Xavier Gens (Frontier(S), Hitman)
Starring: Lauren German, Michael Biehn, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Eklund, and Rosanna Arquette.
Plot: In this graphic and violent  post-apocalyptic thriller, nine strangers- all tenants of a New York high rise apartment- escape a nuclear attack by hiding out in the building’s bunker-like basement.

Trapped for days underground with no hope for rescue, and only unspeakable horrors awaiting them on the other side of the bunker door, the group begins to descend into madness, each turning on one another with physical and psychosexual torment.

As supplies dwindle, and tensions flare, and they grow increasingly unhinged by their close quarters and hopelessness, each act against one another  becomes more depraved than the next. While everyone in the bunker allows themselves to be overcome by desperation and lose their humanity, one survivor holds onto a thin chance for escape even with no proise of salvation on the outside.

Thoughts: This sci-fi flick originally saw release in March via South by Southwest, then also screened at the San Diego Comic Con. I have not yet seen it, but it looks like an interesting take on the post-apocalyptic sub genre. The visuals look awesome and the cast features genre fan favorite Michael Biehn and the underratted Gilmore Girls and Heroes alum Milo Ventimiglia. I’ve always loved the concept of strangers locked in a single location as the world around them ends. The character study of what they might do as things get worse and worse is very interesting. You can check out the opening scene of the film over at its official website.

I don’t really think that Sarah Michelle Gellar has been not getting work or anything. She’s had a kid! But at the same time, she’s been out of the spotlight for a good while now and I’m so glad that she’s finally got her own TV show again (Ringer on the CW). You’ve probably figured out by now that I was and am still a huge Buffy fan. I own all of the seasons on DVD and watch them every so often on a rainy Saturday. When I heard that she had her own show again, I knew that I was going to be watching.

I did my homework on it before the show premiered and while I was looking up more info for it online, I came across some Clear wireless Reviews. After I looked through it a little bit I decided to change over my apartment’s internet service to it.

I think that I’m really liking the show so far, even if it wasn’t starring Sarah Michelle Gellar I would really love it. It’s definitely staying on my DVR list.

If you are as big of a Toy Story fan as I am, than you’ll be glad to hear about about an all new limited series from Disney and Marvel Comics which will bring us a new story with the characters we’ve fallen in love with over the film series.

Hitting news stands and comic stores in March, the four issue limited series will take us back in time a little bit to the end of the first movie when Andy got Buster, a lovable puppy. What followed for Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang?

The limited series is written by Tea Orsi, with art by Teresa Quezada-Geer and Antonello Dalena, and a cover by Marco Ghiglione and Silvano Scolari.

Between the Toy Story shorts in front of Cars 2 and The Muppets and now the characters returning in comic book format, it looks like we don’t have any end in sight for everyone’s favorite toys – and I couldn’t be happier. It’ll also be great to see characters that didn’t make it to Toy Story 3 again, like Bo Peep and Lenny (assuming they are in the series). With so much time between movies there really could be an endless supply of content for future Toy Story comics (and all new short films). Lets hope the series does well enough to warrant more of them!

This post brought to you by LG DoublePlay™. All opinions are 100% mine.

Are you still struggling with what to get your geeky or tech savvy significant other? Well, thanks to the wonder of the internet I was just introduced to the LG DoublePlay™, and I think I can cross at least one thing off my list.

This smartphone sets itself a part from others with dual touch screens (one 3.5 inch and the other is a 2 inch sub display). You can switch between the touch screens and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. In addition to the dual monitors you’ll get a 5 megapixel camera, an HD video recorder (with direct upload to Facebook and messaging, the phone runs on Android 2.3 and is compatible with Cloud Text and Group Text functions, which lets you use your phone in conjunction with your PC or tablet for group chatting.

I don’t know about you, but I usually use somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 texts a month, between work interactions, personal messages, and sending pictures to friends and family. I also have switched from the computer to my smartphone for most of my posts to Facebook and Twitter, it is easier to post on the go as things come up rather than saving a thought for when I am by a computer. If I had the LG DoublePlay, I might be able to take my texting and social media interactions to the next level on the go by posting better looking pictures and video blogs, along with staying in touch with work via group texting.

Check out the link above for more details about the LG DoublePlay- there is still time to get one for the Holidays! The phone is available exclusively at T-Mobile. How much do you text? Do you think the LG DoublePlay could be a game changer as far as phones go? The dual touch screens are pretty awesome!
