Last week How I Met Your Mother returned with its new season and once again dangled the mother in front of the audience without revealing much more about her. Will we meet her in the season (series?) finale? At that point will it even matter? Personally I’d like to see Ted’s relationship with the mother take off and grow. If we only get a minute with the mother it will feel like such a copout. Anyhow, for a first time in the show’s history all of the characters are paired up in relationships with three of them doomed for failure. It should be a fun ride seeing how over the course of the season said relationships crash and burn.
Official Description, “The Pre-Nup”: Barney’s extensive and comprehensive prenup leads the guys to put forth their own relationship principles, which their significant others do not find agreeable. Meanwhile, an incensed Quinn responds with her own prenup.

Tonight’s episode was very good. It looks like they’re going to be quickening the pace of this season, unlike seasons past. I think this might be the sign that this show is in its home stretch which, really, is not the worst thing for it though I still love it. But after seven seasons, I’d really like to meet the mother, and maybe get to know her, though I’d be satisfied with just the big reveal, after all the show is called “How I Met Your Mother” and not “How I Met Your Mother and What We Did After that Meeting and So on and So Forth.” Regardless, it was still a good episode in what I hope is a good season especially considering how strong last week’s season opener was.
How I Met Your Mother has had an awesome start for the new season. While I’d rather it not be the last season, if it is I hope that they can keep up this quality!
