IT professionals who are looking to support their skills, knowledge and experience with an essential source of validation in the information management and storage sector of IT should look into earning an EMC certification. EMC is the number one certification program in the storage and management industry, and individuals who earn certification in one of several different tracks will have a major advantage in the workplace. Their proven professional education certification program will offer top of the line education and validation of skills that are found in job roles offered by numerous computing companies. By enrolling in an EMC training course and then taking the exam associated with the certification, you will have proven your abilities to employers who are searching for the next great thing in information storage.

Perhaps the greatest thing about EMC is the fact that you can truly branch out your skills to become a specialist in any one of the available career tracks. If your interests and/or experience lie in storage administration, EMC offers certifications for general information storage and technology specific careers. Individuals can also take on roles that include technology architect, data scientist, platform engineer, system administrator, application developer and more.

The way in which EMC separates its exams is easy to follow. There are three levels of certification: associate, specialist and expert. Many tracks offer certifications in all three, allowing the individual to diversify and specify his/her career attraction. Some offer participants the ability to specialize a broad set of skills, usually once earning a prerequisite associate certification that verifies knowledge of basic foundational skills. Become familiar with the EMC educational program and take a look at the certifications they have to offer to choose one that sounds right for you.

Well, it is that time again… we have a new X-Men #1. This series relaunches more than most people change their underwear. This relaunch in particular is starting with a bit of a twist, and would be more properly titled X-Women as it features some of the X-Men’s most famous heroines teaming up minus the gentlemen of the atom. Lead by Storm, the team features Shadowcat, Jubilee, Rachel Summers, Rogue, and Psyclocke.

(spoilers, maybe?) Can anyone explain just what is happening with Jubilee? She lost her powers, then was turned into a vampire, and now on these covers she looks back to her old self… um? I have only been following X-titles with “Factor”, “All New”, or “Wolverine and” in the titles… I guess I missed a few things.

X-Men #1
Official Description: Because you demanded it! The X-Women finally get their own book, from critically acclaimed superstars Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel! An old enemy shows up at the X-Men’s door, seeking asylum from an ancient evil come back to earth. Meanwhile, Jubilee has come home, and she’s brought with her an orphaned baby who might hold the key to the earth’s survival…or its destruction. Against a backdrop of what seems like an alien invasion and an eons-spanning war between brother and sister, Storm steps up and puts together a team to protect the child and stop a new threat that could destroy all life on earth!

The Marvel comic will hit stores and the digital market place on May 29th, 2013. Will you be picking it up and following the adventures of the first X-Women team?

Release Date: May 24, 2013
Studio: Warner Brothers
Director: Todd Phillips
Cast: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, John Goodman, Melissa McCarthy, Justin Bartha.
Plot: The Hangover Part III is the third and final film in director Todd Phillips’ record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

Thoughts: I don’t think anyone saw the trailer for the first Hangover and thought to themselves “I see this becoming one of the funniest and most successful comedy trilogies of all time.” But here we are, four years after the first movie with two sequels and countless box office dollars later.

Now, the second movie in the series was a huge let down creatively. Story-wise it was identical to the original (save for a new setting), and all of the jokes felt tired and used. The trailer for Part III gives me a lot of hope that they recognized the mistakes of the second one and improved on them. Right from the description, “..no wedding. No bachelor party,”

Yeah, I’ll be there.

Did you enjoy the latest episode of Kill Phil on Cinefix's Youtube Page? At 20 minutes, the show is longer than most webshows, but still short enough to watch during your lunch, on a break or before bed. The show is very well produced, looks and sounds fantastic, with some very stylist graphics mixed in. The episode takes the audience to the Creative Concepts workshop. It is here that we join movie prop master Rick Hilgner for three days as he builds the awesome shotgun-like blaster from the Joseph Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis time travel action thriller Looper.

Hilgner is known for making some very cool props that you are very familar with, having worked on such movies as The Fifth Element, Starship Troopers, Broken Arrow, and Vertical Limit. And he does not let down here. My favorite thing about the episode is that it really takes you behind the scenes of building the prop. We follow Hilgner for three days, extensively going step by step through the process of building the prop gun. It is amazing to see the level of detail that is put into this. You don't always realize when you watch a movie that all of these original creations where made by hand, taking days, even weeks and months to build.

Other episodes of Kill Phil focus on building such props as the Arc Generator from District 9 and the Gravity Gun from Half Life. Check 'em and out and leave a comment with your favorite movie weapon- what would you like them to build in a future episode?

MAN OF STEEL

Release Date: June 14, 2013
Studio: Warner Brothers
Director: Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen)
Cast: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni, and Richard Schiff.
Plot: A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do.

But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.

Thoughts: I can not wait for Man of Steel to come out. Seriously. I know next to nothing about the movie. I’ve seen the trailer and we all know the very basics; origin story, Zod, and the suit looks a bit different. But I absolutely love the fact that I really don’t know much about the plot.

This is the polar opposite of the advertising of Iron Man 3, a movie that I have not seen but I feel like I know every beat of the movie. The cast is top notch, I love Snyder’s visual style, and more so than the actors that have come before him, Henry Cavill looks the part of Superman without even being in the suit.

Is it June 14th yet?
