It is that time again, get ready for another contest. This time, you have the chance to walk home with Bryan Singer’s adventure movie, Jack the Giant Slayer.
In the movie, giants are unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries and fight to reclaim the world as their own. A young man named Jack is forced to become a hero and to fight for his kingdom, friends and family, and the love of a brave princess. What chance does a teenager have against an army of giants?
Well, Jack might have a better chance at defeating them when you take control of the giant’s every move in the Jack the Giant Slayer app below! In addition to animated gifs that you control, there is a quiz that tests how brave you are (which could open a secret clip from the movie), and a Giant Soundboard which lets you play sound effects from the Giants which are featured in the movie (can you say, remix time?).
Now lets get to the contest and your chance to win the Jack the Giant Slayer Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD + Ultraviolet). The movie is based on the fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk”. Leave a comment telling us what other fairy tale you’d like to see made into an adventure movie and you will be entered into a random drawing to win the Blu-Ray! For a second entry into the contest, tweet about the contest with the hashtags #JackTheGiantSlayer and #MHD along with a link to myhollywooddream.com.
The contest is presented by Warner Brothers. The movie stars Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, and Eleanor Tomlinson. If you don’t win the contest, you can buy Jack the Giant Slayer on Blu-Ray and DVD on June 18th!

how about the boy who cried wolf as a horror movie?
I can picture it. The “boy who cried slasher monster”!
The Girl without Hands
That is one dark story!
Sleeping Beauty as an Action Movie
Can it be Inception-like with Sleeping Beauty fighting through a dream world to get back to reality?

Will, you earned two entries into the contest! Thanks for entering and tweeting!
Little Red Riding Hood could have been made into such a better movie than that awful one a few years ago
Yes, it really could have! Do you like “Red” on Once Upon a Time?
I think the Elves and the Shoemaker could be made into a fun animated movie.
I love that story! I think it might make a better animated short. Not sure where they would go with the story for a feature.
The little mermaid or Sinbad the sailor would be a couple good action adventures
I can picture them both. Nothing like a good adventure on the high sea!
The Three Little Pigs.
Reimagined as a vengeance story where after the pig in the straw house is killed, the two remaining pigs go on a mission to hunt down the evil wolf (who is also a mob leader).
Rapunzel.
Disney put a great “spin” on that with Tangled.
The Fairy Tail – A story about a fairy born with a tail. The other fairies made fun of her, but she eventually learns that it isn’t a weakness, but a strength!*
* Straight to VHS
Not even DVD, VHS.
Awesome. I’d watch it (just need to dust off my VHS player).
Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Lots of fun directions they can go with Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
I would like to see what Disney could do with The Armless Maiden, a Russian fairy tale.
Disney does have a way with fairy tales.
^
Three bears trying to kill Scarlet Johansson.
I’ve always seen Goldilocks as the bad guy. I mean, she breaks into their house, eats their food, messes up their stuff…
Johansson vs Bears would be pretty cool though!
COURAGEOUS WARRIOR!
Not familiar with this one. I’m game for anything with Warrior in the title though.
The Three Little Pigs
See above comment 🙂
Thanks for entering!
And the winner of the Jack the Giant Slayer Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack is… TIM!
