We are getting closer and closer to the new television season, so it seems like a good time to ease back into our daily TV Tonight column. Thankfully we have year round new programming thanks to a few staples. Included in that mix of content providers is the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). They have long running primetime shows such as Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, along with other weekly shows including WWE Main Event, WWE Superstars, and their new reality show Total Divas. This does not even count their numerous webshows, like WWE NXT and Backstage Fallout. If you are ever bored in television’s offseason, set a DVR pass to WWE programming and it can keep you very busy for hours on end.
Tonight’s Monday Night Raw comes to us from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. The big news is the promised return of Edge, whose career was cut short due to an injury. Also on the card and scheduled to appear are Randy Orton, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Alberto Del Rio, Triple H, and Mr. McMahon (to name more than a few). To catch the new live episode, tune into USA Network at 8pm.
Official Description: WWE Hall of Famer Edge returns. Plus, a look at what’s next for WWE champ Randy Orton.
