- Have you been to a Comic-Con or genre con (Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, D23, etc)? Post a comment on this article about a memory from a past con experience.
- Head over to Facebook and post a comment on our post about this contest (comment can be about anything or even just a general hello!).
- Tweet at @MyHWoodDream & @WatchComet and let us know which con is your favorite!
i remember seeing venom for the first time in con footage. was so cool. wish the movie lived up to the first footage.
I was there and saw that also! Love that some of the footage they showed didn’t even have the special effects yet. Was so early. Ending with venom got the place on its feet.
Love the panels. Even better that they are online now.
Yeah. There is so much more access now. You don’t even have to go.
Trailers
I watch in repeat all week. Love me some comic con trailers.
Free swag is the best
I still have T-Shirts and Bags from the comic cons I went to. Most of the other free stuff is gone though.
Definitely the trailers
PTV and I agree 😉
I remember going to some cheap dinky con at a local college, they had the actor who played Boba Fett and charged $20 for a sketch of characters. Not the fondest memories lol
We have to get you to a bigger con. I have very fond memories of those. Never did any pay meet and greets, but I did meet Stan Lee and snapped a picture with the original Lois Lane.
I’ve only been able to attend the local StocktonCon once, in my home town. It was small, but still a lot of fun! Didn’t get to meet any big name celebs. And sadly, I missed the one we had a few years back when the late, great, Richard Kiel made a special appearance.
Still awesome. Local cons a great and less crowded.
I like walking the floor on Sunday and getting deals.
Such good deals on trades on Sunday.
