Tonight at 10pm on Comedy Central we have the 100th episode of Futurama! After being canceled years ago I never thought we’d see this day,but I’m really glad that it is here. The episode is also the season finale, check out this preview for it…

In the episode, the gang gets their 100th delivery, but Fry accidentally reveals Leela’s origins as a mutant who has illegally been living above the surface. This causes a war between the mutants and surface people for mutant rights. Fry joins Leela and the mutants, which includes the band Devo. How will it end? You have to watch and see. Futurama stars the voices of Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Phil LaMarr, and Lauren Tom. Two reruns air before the new episode starting at 9pm on Comedy Central, make it a Futurama night!

What else is on tonight? Well, we have a bunch of reality shows with CBS’ Big Brother 12 (I can’t believe this show is still on) at 8pm, and Project Runway on Lifetime at 9pm. Spike has a new TNA Wrestling Impact! at 9pm, which looks Emmy worth compared to MTV’s Jersey Shore which airs at 10pm with an Aftershow special right after it. Why do people watch that crap? In terms of new primetime dramas our only option is ABC’s police drama Rookie Blue at 9pm… or we can just find something on Hulu, yeah that sounds like a good idea.

What will you be watching tonight?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE MOCK TRAILERS. Especially for classic video games. People that can make a funny trailer that stays true to the source material while paying homage to different parts of the game deserve our attention. This mock movie trailer for the classic PC learning game The Oregon Trail is perfect. Watch it and comment below!

improv

Guest post written by Jason Lovett.

Stand-up comedy wasn’t something that I aspired to do. I just started taking an improv class on Wednesday nights with a friend as a fun way to blow off steam from work.

After my class ended, I joined an improv troupe with some of my fellow classmates and we started performing at the comedy club where we took the class. Every Friday night the comedy club has a huge improve show that features us and some other troupes. It’s not a big deal, but really fun.

A few months ago my parents came to their first improv show of mine on one of those Friday nights. They seemed to laugh along with everyone else although they seemed confused at times. After the show we went out for a late dinner and my mom explained to me that she couldn’t hear all of the jokes and misunderstood what was going on a lot of the time as a result. After that I sent her information about hearing aids prices and helped her pick out some hearing aides.

They came back to a show about a month later and seemed to laugh a little more and genuinely enjoy it. I hope that was the case and it wasn’t just show for me while I could see them from the stage.

I don’t always dig the Funny or Die comedy videos, but every now and than they hit the nail on the head. In this new video, Eva Mendes is selling a new product, her S.EX. Tape…

Mendes co-stars with Funny or Die co-creator Will Ferrell this weekend in The Other Guys, with Mark Wahlberg, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, and Damon Wayans Jr. It opens against Step Up 3D, Middle Men, Twelve and the Rob Reiner coming of age drama Flipped.

I don’t know what it is about these Old Spice commercials, but they really crack me up.

But I guess I’m not the only one, the ex-NFL wide receiver recently signed a talent deal with NBC to develop a new series. Where do we have to send letters to get the series to be about his Old Spice character?
