From “Iron Man” to “Master Mind”? Hollywood Insider is reporting that Robert Downey Jr is teaming up with Ben Stiller’s production company, Red Hour Films, and will be lending his voice to DreamWorks Animation’s “Master Mind”, a superhero spoof.

Downey Jr., who starred as the golden avenger Iron Man earlier this summer, would be joining the dark side for this new film where he portrays a “villain who loses his will to live after accidentally killing his archrival”. Tina Fey is rumored to be joining the film’s cast.

The film has an expected release date of November 5th, 2010. The IMDB lists Gary Trousdale (Atlantis: The Lost Empire) as the director, but multiple sites are reporting that Cameron Hood and Kyle Jefferson will now be helming the film. Alan J. Schoolcraft and Brent Simons wrote the screenplay, which will be both writer’s debut film.
