Tonight at 8pm on NBC is an all new episode of Chuck. Last week, Chuck’s father (Scott Bakula) was captured by the evil spy agency Fulcrum. Now, his last hope might lie in the hands of Chuck’s double-crossing ex, Jill (Jordana Brewster).

Week in and week out, Chuck is one of the most consistant and enjoyable shows. The series is in just its second season and has a lot more stories to tell. Right now Chuck is on the bubble for renewal. Click here to find out what you can do to help save Chuck.

Heroes and Chuck in 3d on NBC

When I sat down to write this I was so torn between spotlighting Chuck in 3d and Heroes that I couldn’t choose just one. Chuck airs at 8pm on NBC and Heroes follows it. I hope you kept your 3D glasses from yesterday’s Superbowl, because Chuck is airing fully in 3D! And on Heroes, we get the first part of an all new volume, “Fugitives”.

On tonight’s all new episode of Chuck, “Chuck Versus the Third Dimension”; “In a 3-D edition, global rock star Tyler Martin (Dominic Monaghan) is marked for murder, so the agents kidnap the musician to discover who’s behind the deadly plot. Elsewhere, Morgan scores two backstage passes to Tyler’s show and holds a contest to determine who will join him….”

While on Heroes “A Clear and Present Danger”, “The newly powerless Hiro resolves to help Ando become a true superhero. Elsewhere, Suresh, Peter, Daphne and Matt return to their regular lives, but Claire’s quest for normalcy is cut short after she discovers a new plot by Nathan; and Sylar looks for his real parents.”

John Connor, Terminator Salvation

New concept art and an interview with McG about Terminator Salvation has been posted over on Wired.  He talks about his vision of the future, how he got Bale to agree to the role, the look of the film, and bits and pieces about the film’s story.  I’m getting pumped for the film. I’m still very worried, but this eases my nerves a little more.

John Connor, Terminator Salvation

Hey guys, this is just a quick update to let you know that a full trailer for McG’s Terminator Salvation has been released online by Warner Brothers. You can watch it in HD here. I like it. I might even like it a lot.

Terminator Salvation doesn’t hit theaters until May 22, 2009, but fans (myself included) are craving any and everything from the new entry in the Terminator series.  It is a constant mix of excitement (the Comic-Con footage looked pretty good) and nerves (is McG really directing this?).

Earlier this week, a behind the scenes featurette and concept art for some of the new killing machines were leaked online. The video was quickly removed from the web, but a few of the pictures are still floating around, you can view them at CanMag.

While I already watched the season premiere this past weekend, my recommendation for tonight is NBC’s “Chuck”. The show is a fun ride and has one of the best ensemble casts on television (it is also the only cast with Adam Baldwin, just saying). Sadly, I’m afraid that the show is going to get lost in its crowded time slot, facing off against “Monday Night Football”, “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, “Gossip Girl” and CBS’ comedy block of “The Big Bang Theory” and “How I Met your Mother”.  “Monday Night Football” has already put the pressure on “Terminator”, and I’d hate to see the same thing happen to “Chuck”.

Tonight’s episode of “Chuck” picks up from the end of last season, and answers the question of what will happen to Chuck when the government rebuilds the Intersect and has no more use for him. Will John Casey (Baldwin) be able pull the trigger and kill Chuck? If he does, they will have to change the name of the show… which airs at 8pm on NBC. Check out these promotional cast stills released by NBC:
