Hey everyone, we still have 5 days until we find out Chuck’s fate! While things are looking positive, the campaign to Save Chuck is going to keep going until we hear that it is officially renewed for a third season. Click here and here for past tips on how you can help save our favorite nerd from cancellation.
To help keep things fresh, I redesigned one of NBC’s old advertisements for the show into a Save Chuck postcard…

It is crunch time! NBC started to announce its schedule yesterday at a special “infront” presentation/news release. Missing from the announcement was any indication of Chuck’s fate. Rumors are making the rounds that it will be returning, but until we hear that from the peacock’s mouth, we can’t be sure, nor can we let up with the effort to SAVE CHUCK!
The most important, active, and up to date sources on all things “Save Chuck” related are the SaveChuck and Save_Chuck Twitter pages. If you are on Twitter, make sure to send messages to them and @NBC to show your support for our favorite spy/action/comedy/drama/romance!
Phasekitty sent me this link to the Unofficial Chuck Soundtrack. @justjody (on Twitter) took the time to put together an ultimate mix for Chuck fans by taking some of the best music used in the series and Give Me My Remote was kind enough to publish it with the music. While NBC might not be smart enough to push for an official soundtrack, at least we have this one to hold us off.
Don’t forget to take the time to send NBC a message through their online form, and while you are at it, send a message to Subway telling them that you just ate a $5 footlong to support Subway’s advertising on Chuck.
CNN took a look at fan’s efforts to save the series. As did too many news sites and blogs to count. Hopefully NBC has been doing some reading!
One of the best ways for us to be heard is to show how much we love the show. Register for the NBC message boards and post about how much you love the show! What network wouldn’t want to hear how much people love their show? This is one way to tell them directly and for others to see. The day after the final we signed up and started posting, as did a ton of other people. Lets keep this up.
Watch full episodes on Hulu and NBC.com and click on the ads. This shows directly that Chuck can be successful and financially sound in non traditional ways. We have to remind NBC that TV ratings aren’t everything. We’ll watch online, buy DVDS and shirts, and even footlong sandwiches!
Tonight at 8pm on NBC is the second season finale of Chuck. The show is consistantly one of the most entertaining shows on television, but is sadly on the bubble for renewal. I hope everyone takes the time to check out the finale and help it get the ratings that it deserves. Watch it live, Tivo it, DVR it, then watch it again online!
Tonight, a lot of stuff is coming to ahead; the wedding of Ellie and Awesome, Chuck and Sarah’s relationship, and the war between the government and Fulcrum. Add to that a list of great guest stars including Scott Bakula, Chevy Chase, Morgan Fairchild, Tony Hale, Bruce Boxleitner, and Matthew Bomer returns as secret agent (and Chuck’s ex-college roommate) Bryce Larkin!
If you are new to Chuck, you’ll still be able to enjoy the action and witty comedy. You can catch up on past episodes on Hulu, by clicking here. Currently they are streaming 12 episodes (episodes 11 to 21 of the current season). You’ll be able to fill in any missing gaps through the IMDB.
Did you drop Heroes last season? Earlier this season? Well, the past few episodes have shown a lot of hope, with Bryan Fuller’s episode titled “Cold Snap” being the best episode since season 1. It just might be time to give the show another chance and thanks to Hulu, you can catch up on all of the season 3 episodes as we count down to the finale. Click here to be saved.
Tonight at 9pm on NBC is an all new Heroes. The show was injected with a renewed life and energy by the return of season 1 writer, Bryan Fuller. In the all new episode, Angela Petrelli must confront her past and try to bring her family back together to face the looming threat to their kind. I am really happy to say that I am excited about the new episode and the future for the show. I just hope that they don’t let Bryan Fuller go anywhere.
Tonight at 9pm on NBC is the series finale of one of primetime’s most successful series, ER. In the final episode of the medical drama, Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) opens a medical facility to help Chicago’s less fortunate and old friends from County General past and present show up to support him. Who will show up? In addition to all of the regulars, I hope that all of the first season’s cast, including George Clooney, Juliana Margulies, Sherry Stringfield, Eriq LaSalle, and Anthony Edwards (in a photo or as a ghost maybe?). What better way would there be to close the series, than getting one last look as the actors that made the series what it is.
Also on tonight…
ABC: In The Motherhood/Smantha Who? (Comedies)
CBS: Survivor: Tocantins The Brazilian Highlands (Reality)
We knew that we would be getting some big changes on Heroes when co-exec producers Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb were fired, but at the time we didn’t know that it would include the return of Bryan Fuller, season one’s best writer. You see, he left the show at the end of season one to create my favorite recently canceled series, Pushing Daisies. He was also the mastermind behind Wonderfalls, an equally awesome show that was canceled before it had a chance to prove itself. While Fuller has some input on the last new episode, I believe it was only felt in the closing moments, which changed the direction of the current chapter. Tonight marks Fuller’s first scripted episode, and he promised a return to the excitement of the first season; returning characters, a back to basics with the wonder of normal people having extraordinary powers, and a face to come with the danger.
What better way to give a face to the danger than to reveal the mysterious Rebel? Well, that is what tonight promises. After outing Nathan as having powers, the “Hunter” targets Rebel and sets in motion a plan to find him (or her) and capture them. I’m still pulling for Rebel to be Micah, the young boy who can talk to (and command) machines. What better power is suited to find and contact other heroes, and then lead them to safety? the episode airs tonight at 9pm on NBC.
Also on tonight…
