We are all about over the top b-horror/comedy. Check out the trailer for The VelociPastor, presented by Kings of Horror.

The VelociPastor was written and directed by Brendan Steere, and stars Gregory James Cohan, Alyssa Kempinski, Jesse Turits, Janice Young, and George Schewnzer. Cohan stars as the title character, who “after losing his parents… travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first horrified by this new power, a hooker convinces him to use it to fight crime. And ninjas.” The movie is a feature version of a grindhouse trailer that went viral in 2010.

Delivered is a crime thriller directed by and starring Michael Madison, one of the co-founders of Indie Rights Movies. From the movie’s IMDB: “Driven by a promise, fueled by revenge… the Mojave desert is the backdrop for this heartfelt story of betrayal and redemption. An eclectic collection of unique characters that include Japanese gangsters, an Italian proctologist, an Armenian art dealer and a hero with a very cool car set the stage for this modern crime thriller.

Delivered co-stars Jeanette May Steiner and Toshi Toda, with Alana Stewart, Chic Daniel, Robert Rusler, and Ludwig Manukian. The movie is available to watch for free on YouTube.

Next week we will spotlight the indie horror flick Abandoned Dead in our 5Ws and How independent film series, but first lets take a look at the movie’s trailer!


Abandoned Dead was directed by Mark W. Curran. The movie is the “tale of a security guard, trapped in a run-down inner-city medical clinic and terrorized by supernatural forces which threaten to overtake her.” The horror flick features Judith O’Dea, aka “Barbra” from the iconic Night of the Living Dead, and stars Sarah Nicklin, Robert E. Wilhelm, Ivan Adame, and Hannah Johnson. You can watch the movie on Tubi TV.


Sofa King *Or, No Man Is an Island, Even with a Cooler Full of Beer is an indie film from In The Garage Productions and director Kevin Wolfring. The movie focuses on Matt, a man who “failed to launch as either an architect or an adult” and “vows to sit on the couch all day in hopes that accomplishing that one goal will give him clarity about the future. Matt is joined on the couch by friends old and new, who ultimately help him realize that he needs to stop sabotaging himself and get off the damn couch.”

Paul Hinkes stars as Matt and is joined by Chandler Rosenthal, Angelica Adams, Jarrett Jung, and Aaron Poon. Sofa King is available to watch for free on Tubi TV.


Zellco Entertainment presents the found footage horror flick Blood Mountain. Directed by Jason Wan Lim, the movie features three mountain bikers on a trip through the mountains when one disappears and they discover they are in the sites of a group of hunters. The movie stars Stafford Perry, Joe Perry, Joshua Murdoch, Genevieve Carre, Jason Schneider, and Meredith Bailey.
