Many moons ago our resident gamer Dubray Kinney took a look at The Walking Dead: A New Day from Telltale Games. He said that the point-and-click adventure’s plot was “comparable to the better parts of the comics” and for $5 dollars the game was worth taking a look at. Flash forward two months and Telltale is readying the release of the the forth adventure in their Walking Dead series, which marks the penultimate part of this saga.

The original story that began in “Episode 1” is coming to a head, and you’ll have to put everything on the line to protect Clementine. As with the first three, the forth episode features some awesome atmosphere and feels like the AMC television adaptation of The Walking Dead, but sadly it does not feel like the comic series. Creators had to pick and choose which version of the material to follow, because you really can’t follow both at the same time. It should be interesting to see if the game crosses over into territory from the show and side characters.

The Walking Dead: Around Every Corner will be released later this month, just in time for Halloween! It was written by Gary Whitta, who wrote the Denzel Washington action movie The Book of Eli and the video game Prey. Have you been following the game? Will you be picking up the new installment?

Not only is he one of the funniest and most witty characters in the Marvel Comics universe, but he is also the life of the party at the San Diego Comic Con! Deadpool hangs out (and dances) with all sorts of interesting people while causing some hijinks at the convention.

Before Comic Con, Deadpool showed off his moves at the Anime Expo, AM2, and Fanime. The next time you are out in a crowd of cosplaying greeks, keep an eye out for the merc with the mouth moves.

Don’t forget, next Wednesday Deadpool #58 hits stores (and the digital market place). The issue sees the return of the classic Deadpool villain Black Box. What does he have in store for the assassin? You’ll have to pick up (or download) the new issue to see. Then in August, keep your eyes peeled as Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. ’nuff said.

This post brought to you by Kia Rio. All opinions are 100% mine.

What do you think about Kia's Scavenger Hunt? Interested in taking your own? The concept of the video above is simple enough, Kia sent two teams of friends in the 2012 Kia Rio 5-door on the Zip and Dash through Los Angeles. The scavenger hunt takes the teams through many of Los Angeles' iconic locations on challenges, including the famed Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, Amoeba Records, Rodeo Drive (the shopping destination made famous in Pretty Women), Pink's Hot Dogs, and the Hollywood hotspot (and possible locations of famus ghosts)- the Roosevelt Hotel. What are the teams looking for? None other than actress Christina Millian.  The Rodeo Drive challenge might have been the most difficult, do you agree?

The teams had to utilize the cars many features to finish the hunt, which include (but are not limited to) Bluetooth, UVO Technology, USB jack, navigation, and a rear camera display. My personal favorite feature is the UVO Technology (linked). You can program your car to recongnise your voice so you can speak commands to it for making and getting calls and using the audio features of the car- this lets you stay completely handsfree while driving. I wish I had that on my car.

Watch the video and leave a comment with your thoughts. Then check out the Kia Rio Explorer Page for more details on the car and its features (also where to get one). Personally, I'd love to go on an adventure/scavenger hunt through Los Angeles, althought I'm not sure what superstar would be at the end of the challenge. But for me it would be less about the superstar and more about the actual challenges. That is where I'd have fun!

Oscar nominee James Franco is making a grand return to General Hospital at the end of September. Unlike most actors that get their start in soaps, Franco decided to go for a run on the long running daytime drama in 2009, well after he found success in both television and film. I love Franco and his Hospital serial killer character of the same name and I can’t wait to see what they do with him on this go around. It is said to be a “long-term” arc. With One Life to Live and All My Children canceled off of ABC, General Hospital is going to have to pull out all of the stops to prove that the show still belongs in the lineup and this is a good step towards that.

More goodies from the Wonder Woman pilot that will never see the light of day have surfaced, includes two clips from the proposed series and a bunch of pretty cool storyboards. The storyboards are by concept artist Cesar Lemus and show shots from the released clips (like the above one) along with glimpses of WW’s origin on Paradise Island. Was her origin originally going to be in the pilot but got cut out or were they saving it for later? After watching the footage, this series seems like less of a fit for NBC and more of a fit for the CW. It could have been a good guilty pleasure superhero series to replace Smallville… oh well.

Sometimes when a show runs for a lot of seasons, they can run out of stories to tell. That is not what happened on Monday night on House though, no, the writers just got damn creative in this dream sequence where House faced down with zombies! (click the image to watch)

You know what? If House went in the direction of a zombie apocalypse, I think I’d start watching it again…
