chuckmemondays

Every week since we all helped Save Chuck, fansites @SaveChuck and Chuck TV have organized ChuckMeMondays, where fans around the world watch Chuck in the correct ordering of episodes at the same time while Twittering/bloging about it.

Currently, CMMs is up to episode 6, “Chuck Versus the Sandworm”, which will be watched tonight at 9pm et (8pm ct, 7pm mt, and 6pm pt) over at TheWB. I’ve been watching weekly, and it is only getting me more pumped for the new season.  TheWB has posted that CMMs have increased online viewership and over in Twitter, they’ve gotten #ChuckMeMondays and #Chuck into the ever important trending topics weekly during airings.

If you can’t watch the episode at the exact time, no worries, just give it a look whenever you can, every viewing helps.  For more information about ChuckMeMondays, click here.

It’s official! Chuck will be coming back for a 3rd season! Click here for the full details. We’ll have more thoughts on this AWESOME news later in the week.

Hey everyone, we still have 5 days until we find out Chuck’s fate! While things are looking positive, the campaign to Save Chuck is going to keep going until we hear that it is officially renewed for a third season.  Click here and here for past tips on how you can help save our favorite nerd from cancellation.

To help keep things fresh, I redesigned one of NBC’s old advertisements for the show into a Save Chuck postcard…

Chuck, NBC, Save Chuck

It is crunch time! NBC started to announce its schedule yesterday at a special “infront” presentation/news release. Missing from the announcement was any indication of Chuck’s fate. Rumors are making the rounds that it will be returning, but until we hear that from the peacock’s mouth, we can’t be sure, nor can we let up with the effort to SAVE CHUCK!

  • The most important, active, and up to date sources on all things “Save Chuck” related are the SaveChuck and Save_Chuck Twitter pages. If you are on Twitter, make sure to send messages to them and @NBC to show your support for our favorite spy/action/comedy/drama/romance!
  • Phasekitty sent me this link to the Unofficial Chuck Soundtrack. @justjody (on Twitter) took the time to put together an ultimate mix for Chuck fans by taking some of the best music used in the series and Give Me My Remote was kind enough to publish it with the music. While NBC might not be smart enough to push for an official soundtrack, at least we have this one to hold us off.
  • Don’t forget to take the time to send NBC a message through their online form, and while you are at it, send a message to Subway telling them that you just ate a $5 footlong to support Subway’s advertising on Chuck.
  • CNN took a look at fan’s efforts to save the series. As did too many news sites and blogs to count. Hopefully NBC has been doing some reading!
  • One of the best ways for us to be heard is to show how much we love the show. Register for the NBC message boards and post about how much you love the show! What network wouldn’t want to hear how much people love their show? This is one way to tell them directly and for others to see. The day after the final we signed up and started posting, as did a ton of other people. Lets keep this up.
  • Watch full episodes on Hulu and NBC.com and click on the ads. This shows directly that Chuck can be successful and financially sound in non traditional ways. We have to remind NBC that TV ratings aren’t everything. We’ll watch online, buy DVDS and shirts, and even footlong sandwiches!

So, what are you going to do to help Save Chuck?

Chuck Finale on NBC. Save CHUCK!!!Tonight at 8pm on NBC is the second season finale of Chuck. The show is consistantly one of the most entertaining shows on television, but is sadly on the bubble for renewal. I hope everyone takes the time to check out the finale and help it get the ratings that it deserves. Watch it live, Tivo it, DVR it, then watch it again online!

Tonight, a lot of stuff is coming to ahead; the wedding of Ellie and Awesome, Chuck and Sarah’s relationship, and the war between the government and Fulcrum. Add to that a list of great guest stars including Scott Bakula, Chevy Chase, Morgan Fairchild, Tony Hale, Bruce Boxleitner, and Matthew Bomer returns as secret agent (and Chuck’s ex-college roommate) Bryce Larkin!

If you are new to Chuck, you’ll still be able to enjoy the action and witty comedy.  You can catch up on past episodes on Hulu, by clicking here. Currently they are streaming 12 episodes (episodes 11 to 21 of the current season). You’ll be able to fill in any missing gaps through the IMDB.

If you’d like some info on how you can help save Chuck, you can check out one of these Save Chuck Twitters (SaveChuck and Save_Chuck), or this Facebook group, the Sidereel site, the GiveMeMyRemote Campaign, and of course you can sign one of these petitions (Petition Spot and You Choose).

And finally, have you ever seen an actor lead a couple hundred fans to one of their show’s main advertisers to help save their show? This is going above and beyond!

What else is on TV tonight?

  • Nothing. Watch Chuck!

Tonight at 8pm on NBC is an all new episode of Chuck. Last week, Chuck’s father (Scott Bakula) was captured by the evil spy agency Fulcrum. Now, his last hope might lie in the hands of Chuck’s double-crossing ex, Jill (Jordana Brewster).

Week in and week out, Chuck is one of the most consistant and enjoyable shows. The series is in just its second season and has a lot more stories to tell. Right now Chuck is on the bubble for renewal. Click here to find out what you can do to help save Chuck.

Heroes and Chuck in 3d on NBC

When I sat down to write this I was so torn between spotlighting Chuck in 3d and Heroes that I couldn’t choose just one. Chuck airs at 8pm on NBC and Heroes follows it. I hope you kept your 3D glasses from yesterday’s Superbowl, because Chuck is airing fully in 3D! And on Heroes, we get the first part of an all new volume, “Fugitives”.

On tonight’s all new episode of Chuck, “Chuck Versus the Third Dimension”; “In a 3-D edition, global rock star Tyler Martin (Dominic Monaghan) is marked for murder, so the agents kidnap the musician to discover who’s behind the deadly plot. Elsewhere, Morgan scores two backstage passes to Tyler’s show and holds a contest to determine who will join him….”

While on Heroes “A Clear and Present Danger”, “The newly powerless Hiro resolves to help Ando become a true superhero. Elsewhere, Suresh, Peter, Daphne and Matt return to their regular lives, but Claire’s quest for normalcy is cut short after she discovers a new plot by Nathan; and Sylar looks for his real parents.”
