Fangoria is hosting the West Coast premiere of Resident Evil: Degeneration, and you are welcome to attend for free!

The animated film will be screening at American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles (6712 Hollywood Boulevard) on Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30pm. Follow the directions here to attend.

The film takes place after the best selling video game Resident Evil 2 and fits into the game series’ timeline (rather than the sub par live action film series with Milla Jovovich).

Directed by Makoto Kamiya, the new film takes place seven years after the “Umbrella Incident” in Raccon City (as seen in Resident Evil 2).  For the movie’s full official description and to watch a trailer, continue reading…

Seven years later, at a Midwest airport, a plane unwittingly delivers an infected cargo—and as the facility fills with the undead, the horrific disaster begins to repeat itself…”
