Heroes, Angela Petrelli

Tonight at 9pm on NBC is an all new Heroes. The show was injected with a renewed life and energy by the return of season 1 writer, Bryan Fuller. In the all new episode, Angela Petrelli must confront her past and try to bring her family back together to face the looming threat to their kind. I am really happy to say that I am excited about the new episode and the future for the show. I just hope that they don’t let Bryan Fuller go anywhere.

My TV on Monday night was an excellent episode of Chuck and then wrasslin’.

I still haven’t made up my mind if the big reveal on Chuck was a sell-out of not. Was it the easy way to go? C’mon! What’s next, Sarah is really a mutant superhero? How many people close to Chuck are a part of the grand scheme? Crazy.

Before I watched the episode (spoilers to follow) I was bitching that I thought they were going to make Chuck’s Dad part of the CIA. But after the episode and the reveal we got, it totally worked.

I’m not sure if it was the great writing or how Bakula sold it, but I loved every minute of it. How can you not love The Empire Strikes Back Yoda homage of having him act completely crazy before his reveal as a genius superspy.

How many people in Chuck’s life will be a part of the spy biz? Oh, not only is his future brother-in-law an awesome doctor, but he’s secretly the surgeon for the aliens from Area 51 relocated to LA. Moran’s secretly a hitman for the Irish Mob. (Yeah, he’s Hispanic. Part of the swerve.) And his mailman? In his spare time he makes spy nanobots in his garage lab. Sell it all you want, I’m just not sold on the convenience.
