WWE Monday Night Raw recently had its 1000th episode [SEE: WWE Raw’s 1000th Episode Review] and I have no doubt that WWE SmackDown will eventually make that milestone. Week in and week out you can always count on the WWE to deliver new programming in their never ending “sports entertainment/soap opera”. They book end the work week airing Raw on Mondays and SmackDown on Fridays. This week continues the march to this years Summer Slam, which is this Sunday and will be presented live on pay per view from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The spotlight is on Sheamus and the question of who he will face for his World Heavyweight title.
