Our first look at season two of My Adventures With Superman arrived this week as Adult Swim and DC Animation debuted the first trailer along with the premiere date. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the first look and details of the acclaimed show’s second season. Season one introduced us to younger versions of the Man of Steel and his two best friends Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. It dealt with the real issue of where Superman fit in the world and how he was viewed. It also gave use new modern versions of classic villains such as Parasite, Silver Banshee and fan favorites Livewire and Mister Mxyzptlk.
Making their debut in the second season will be Lex Luthor, Brainiac, and the surprising addition of Superman’s Kryptonian cousin Supergirl. In addition to Lex and Brainiac, confirmed villains include The Atomic Skull and Deathstroke. The Kryptonian warrior who appeared at the end of the first season will also be back and I think it’s safe to say he will turn out to be General Zod. Will he be working with Brainac to rebuild the Kryptonian Empire? Season two looks like it’s going to be a very intriguing and fun season and will look to build off the successful season one.
The one hour premiere is May 25th.
