The folks at NBC were kind enough to put the Chuck panel up online. This is the whole panel minus any clips they showed (with a few annoying but understandable commercials mixed in). Enjoy it… (expect spoilers)

(Now, I’m going to talk about spoilers) I love the idea of the CIA taking over the Buy More and adding other agents into the mix. It should be funny to see how Jeffster, Big Mike, and the others react to this. Linda Hamilton as Chuck’s mom is completely basass, I just hope she is good and not evil. I hope we can see some of what happened to Chuck’s parents in the past.

Other casting news; Olivia Munn and the “Old Spice” guy Isaiah Mustafa will be guest starring as CIA agents, and villains Stone Cold Steve Austin and Nicole Richie will be returning. With Richie returning, hopefully that means we’ll learn more about Sarah’s mysterious past. I also love the addition of Mekenna Melvin as Casey’s daughter Alex. I really hope that we’ll see more of her in the upcoming season.

Are you excited about the new season of Chuck? Discuss it below! NBC’s Comic Con panels for The Event, The Cape, and Community are also online, you can check them out here.

chuck new season

Chuck returned last night with two hours and CHUCKing awesome ratings! The back to back episodes were Chuck‘s best rated episodes since its 3D episode and some of the best ratings for any of NBC’s scripted dramas this season. We get another new hour of Chuck tonight in its normal timeslot of 8pm, right before Heroes. To say I’m excited about this news would be an understatement. If you somehow missed Chuck‘s return last night, you can check it on Hulu here.

Chuck Me Out Logo

One of the many San Diego Comic-Con annoucements this past weekend including the all new Chuck community hub, Chuck Me Out! (incase you missed Comic-Con, you can watch the Chuck panel here)  Chuck Me Out! is a new site from NBC and the creators of Chuck that features all new videos, news, photos, and posters about the series along with message boards, videos, and exclusives for fans.

Included in the mix is a thermometer that is tracking views of Chuck episodes on NBC.com with a goal of 1 million streams.  Check out the link above and catch up on episodes of Chuck and lets help reach that goal in a record time!  I’m not sure why this isn’t up with the Hulu video of the Chuck Comic-Con panel, but Jeffster opened the panel! Chuck on NBC

The 2009 San Diego Comic-Con is going to have a lot of panels, showcases, signings and events, but I wanted to take a moment to look at what is ahead at the con for one of My Hollywood Dream’s favorite shows, Chuck!

On Friday, July 24th, Zachary Levi will be apart of the TV Guide Sci-Fi Hot List and will be part of a Q&A with Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory, Scott Peters and Scott Wolf from the new reboot of V, Rebecca Romijn of fall’s Eastwick, and Kevin Williamson the writer of Scream who is behind the new vampire series based on the book series with the same name, The Vampire Diaries.  This panel begins at 6:15pm in Ballroom 20.

Saturday the real fun begins! At 10am in Ballroom 20 (why so early?) is the Chuck panel.  It will begin with a five-minute retrospective highlight reel, then moderator Alan Sepinwall will present Josh Schwartz, Chris Fedak, Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Joshua Gomez, Ryan McPartlin, Mark Christopher Lawrence,Vik Sahay, Scott Krinsky, Sarah Lancaster and Adam Baldwin. They’ll hold a Q&A and preview the new season.  While they will not have footage to show from the new season, they will definitly be giving away some much desired info on the direction of the new season (Super-Chuck?) and you never know when they might give away prizes like t-shirts or DVDs.

Following the panel, all of the cast members from the panel will be heading to the WB booth to sign autographs and chat with fans.  Don’t forget your camera, because this is your chance to snap a pic with your favorite cast member.

Also, keep an eve on the WB’s booth over the course of the whole convention, because you never known when they might be giving away Chuck related goodies. In the past I’ve taken home free Chuck comics and a really cool bag. If you are heading to San Diego, have fun at the con!

Tonight at 8pm on NBC is an all new episode of Chuck. Last week, Chuck’s father (Scott Bakula) was captured by the evil spy agency Fulcrum. Now, his last hope might lie in the hands of Chuck’s double-crossing ex, Jill (Jordana Brewster).

Week in and week out, Chuck is one of the most consistant and enjoyable shows. The series is in just its second season and has a lot more stories to tell. Right now Chuck is on the bubble for renewal. Click here to find out what you can do to help save Chuck.

Heroes and Chuck in 3d on NBC

When I sat down to write this I was so torn between spotlighting Chuck in 3d and Heroes that I couldn’t choose just one. Chuck airs at 8pm on NBC and Heroes follows it. I hope you kept your 3D glasses from yesterday’s Superbowl, because Chuck is airing fully in 3D! And on Heroes, we get the first part of an all new volume, “Fugitives”.

On tonight’s all new episode of Chuck, “Chuck Versus the Third Dimension”; “In a 3-D edition, global rock star Tyler Martin (Dominic Monaghan) is marked for murder, so the agents kidnap the musician to discover who’s behind the deadly plot. Elsewhere, Morgan scores two backstage passes to Tyler’s show and holds a contest to determine who will join him….”

While on Heroes “A Clear and Present Danger”, “The newly powerless Hiro resolves to help Ando become a true superhero. Elsewhere, Suresh, Peter, Daphne and Matt return to their regular lives, but Claire’s quest for normalcy is cut short after she discovers a new plot by Nathan; and Sylar looks for his real parents.”

While I already watched the season premiere this past weekend, my recommendation for tonight is NBC’s “Chuck”. The show is a fun ride and has one of the best ensemble casts on television (it is also the only cast with Adam Baldwin, just saying). Sadly, I’m afraid that the show is going to get lost in its crowded time slot, facing off against “Monday Night Football”, “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, “Gossip Girl” and CBS’ comedy block of “The Big Bang Theory” and “How I Met your Mother”.  “Monday Night Football” has already put the pressure on “Terminator”, and I’d hate to see the same thing happen to “Chuck”.

Tonight’s episode of “Chuck” picks up from the end of last season, and answers the question of what will happen to Chuck when the government rebuilds the Intersect and has no more use for him. Will John Casey (Baldwin) be able pull the trigger and kill Chuck? If he does, they will have to change the name of the show… which airs at 8pm on NBC.
