Heroes, Season 3

Did you drop Heroes last season? Earlier this season? Well, the past few episodes have shown a lot of hope, with Bryan Fuller’s episode titled “Cold Snap” being the best episode since season 1. It just might be time to give the show another chance and thanks to Hulu, you can catch up on all of the season 3 episodes as we count down to the finale. Click here to be saved.

I hope everyone has had a nice week. Today we have a poster, fan made trailer, along with some other stuff. Enjoy!

  • An all new teaser poster for X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been reelased. I like it, but it is pretty much just a variation of ever other Wolverine image we’ve had since the first X-Men flick. (Comics Continuum)
  • A big fan of Smallville and Buffy the Vampire Slayer had way tooooo much time on their hands! (YouTube)
  • 3 on 3 NHL Arcade reminds me a lot of NBA Jam. (IGN)
  • Have I said lately how much I love having full episodes of TV shows online? In the Family Guy episode “Road to Germany”, “Brian and Stewie travel back in time and land in Nazi-era Germany.” (Hulu)
  • Will Ferrell is the bright spot on Broadway? (Variety)

On Janurary 6th, Scrubs returns with two all new episodes on its new home ABC. The network was kind enough to put together this nifty “Starter Kit” for the series recapping past seasons and introducing the characters to a new audience. I’m glad to see the series continue as it is one of the most enjoyable shows on television. It is also one of the few shows that I can watch at anytime and not feel completely lost, regardless of episode order or season.

You can also catch up with full episodes from the past two seasons of Scrubs at ABC’s official webpage for the series, located here.

With the success of The Dark Knight, its only natural that a lot of people would want to either mimic the scarred look of Two-Face for a new villain or even shoot their own Batman fan film. The backyard effects specialists at Indy Mogul show us how to create chemical burns. Watch it online and you can check out more of Indy Mogul’s how to videos and their weekly shows here.

There have been a ton of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” related spin off proposals (a full list can be found here), but none of them came closer to happening than “Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Animated Series”.  The series was going to follow the Scooby Gang back in high school (for the first time with Dawn), with most of the cast reprising their roles (sans Sarah Michelle Gellar), and most of the writing team on board to write episodes.  The idea seemed solid, but for unknown reasons it never made it to air. Now, almost four years later, the pilot presentation has been leaked online!  Watch it, have your friends watch it, with enough views or the right hype, maybe all this time later it will make it to air. Weirder things have happened.

For now, enjoy!
